She has more than a decade of experience advising in all areas of planning law, from pre-application strategy to post-planning matters. Katy specialises in advising regarding large scale energy and infrastructure projects. This includes the promotion of Development Consent Orders and Compulsory Purchase Orders, including conducting advocacy during examinations. She has a depth of experience in environmental impact assessment and habitats regulation assessments. Katy’s experience spans multiple sectors, including nuclear, hydrogen, offshore wind, interconnectors, and energy from waste.
