An experienced solicitor, Helena has been Head of Environmental Law at the Office for Environmental Protection (OEP) since its establishment in 2021. During that time she has led the OEP’s work on scrutinising the implementation of the key environmental assessment laws, and its advice on Part 3 of the Planning and Infrastructure Bill. She has a mix of private and public sector environmental law experience, having previously worked at the Environment Agency and in private practice.
