Nick is a Chartered Ecologist with over 15 years experience in ecological consultancy and a strong track record in habitat survey and design. His current role at Jacobs is as a BNG Specialist within the Core BNG Delivery Team, with a focus on applying the BNG approach at both a strategic and project level, keeping abreast of evolving policy and developing best practice approaches.  He is currently the BNG lead for the Anglian Water, Fens and Lincolnshire Reservoirs schemes which are Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). In this role he has a particular focus on identifying risks and opportunity around BNG delivery, linking BNG to wider benefits of scheme delivery and building in resilience to the evolving assessment project design relating to the forthcoming mandatory BNG requirements for NSIPs.
