Naushad is an Associate Director at RPS (a Tetra Tech company) within EIA & Sustainability team, based in their Abingdon office. He is a Chartered Environmentalist and a Chartered Landscape Professional, with over 20 years of experience.

Naushad leverages a deep understanding of EIA process requirements and EIA project management and combined with his expertise on urban/spatial planning, architecture and LVIA/TVIA aspects, he has worked across a broad range of projects that include renewable energy, linear infrastructure, oil and gas, urban regeneration and residential/commercial development projects. His current work focuses on large complex onshore renewable energy projects.

Naushad's diverse background and experience enables him to help clients navigate challenges at all stages of project development.

He has extensive experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams and fosters collaborative work alongside technical excellence. In addition to being an EIA lead on a number of large complex projects, Naushad also has a wealth of experience as LVIA/TVIA expert and has successfully led several complex LVIAs/TVIAs in the UK as well as internationally, including being an expert witness for a public inquiry.

Naushad has also led various Digital EIA initiatives and is part of the ISEP Digital EIA Working Group since its inception and has contributed to various articles and webinars on Digital EIA, including being the lead author for ISEP's guidance on Effective Non-Technical Summaries for EIA (June 2003).
