A Senior Principal Systems Engineer with extensive experience of safety critical control technology, particularly railway Command, Control & Signalling Systems for both mass transit and mainline Railways including ERTMS, PTC & CBTC systems. Karl is a Chartered member of the IET and a Certified Systems Engineering Professional of INCOSE.

He has worked extensively on large complex safety-critical projects around the world including the UK, Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Canada, USA, Brazil, India, Kuala Lumpur, South Africa, Mozambique, Guinea and Australia.

Karl’s current role is as one of the Lead Systems Engineers on the East West Rail Programme.
