George Wilyman heads up Aura Power’s UK Planning Team and is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. George has over a decade of professional planning experience. Before his time at Aura Power, George worked for a leading multi-disciplinary planning consultancy where he advised clients on various large infrastructure and employment-led development.

Headquartered in Bristol, Aura Power develops industrial-scale solar and battery storage projects. George’s focus is on the UK market, where he oversees all planning work, ensuring that implementable planning permissions are obtained. In his work, George works collaboratively with internal Land, Grid and Engineering colleagues and engages proactively with Local Authorities, Statutory Consultees and local communities to develop and refine projects.
