Julian Boswall is a planning partner with Burges Salmon LLP. He specialises in major infrastructure consenting and advises a number of water companies on planning issues. He is a recognised market leader on NSIP consenting. He has secured the only Development Consent Order to date for reservoirs under the Planning Act 2008, being Reservoir Act regulated reservoirs forming part of a new hydro pumped storage scheme in Wales. He has advised on over 20 NSIP projects since 2007 across the power, pipelines and transport sectors. He is a Board member of the National Infrastructure Planning Association.
