Tom McGarry is Head of Regional External Affairs and Development for Sizewell C Co, the applicant and developer of Sizewell C. Tom manages the complex network of stakeholder relationships for this major infrastructure project in the East of England. He has led several public consultation programmes and communications campaigns in sectors including housing, retail, aviation and the proposed new nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast. Sizewell C recently achieved development consent. Tom is now responsible for ensuring that partnerships with stakeholders will help Sizewell C deliver jobs, skills and supply chain opportunities to residents and businesses across East Anglia.

He is a Director of the East of England Energy Group, a member of the New Anglia LEP’s All Energy Industry Council and on the East Suffolk Community Partnership Board. He is an ambassador for Suffolk New College and is involved in a number of community and educational charities.
