Sebastien is presently Head of Traction Power & EMC at Mott MacDonald. He started his career as a graduate engineer at Enotrac UK Ltd in 2000 prior to joining Mott MacDonald as Project Director in 2015. His main area of technical specialism includes traction power system design. Sebastien has been involved in the development of several multi-train simulators, which are used to size traction power systems. He has led numerous studies in the verifying, validating and optimising of traction power supply schemes for the electrification of various light-rail, urban, suburban and intercity railways worldwide.
