Tom is currently Director, Rail Systems Engineering Lead, at Arup where he has been since 2020. Tom started work in 1992 as a graduate trainee with London Underground. Since then Tom has accumulated considerable experience delivering CBTC and ERTMS projects in both Europe and Asia, including 5 years with the Land Transport Authority, Singapore, and 13 years with Bombardier working on projects in China, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and latterly back in the UK. Tom graduated from the University of Manchester and is a Fellow of the Institution of Railway Signalling Engineers.
