His expertise in aviation consents is unparalleled, having served as the planning lead for prominent airports such as London Luton, Gatwick, and TAG Farnborough, among others.

Ian's role has extended beyond planning, having been a pivotal Planning Inquiry and Court Expert Witness. Over the past 15 years, Ian has specialised in Development Consent Orders (DCOs), contributing to significant projects including the DCOs for London Luton Airport, Gatwick Airport, EDF Energy's Hinkley Point C, and East West Rail.

Ian’s leadership prowess was further demonstrated during his tenure as Managing Director with the Berkeley Group. Additionally, his strategic insights were sought after as a Special Advisor to the Mayor of London's Infrastructure Delivery Board, showcasing his influence and commitment to urban development and infrastructure.
