Adam Freeman is Head of ESG and Environmental Strategy at Manchester Airports Group which owns and operates East Midlands, London Stansted and Manchester Airports.  Adam is a Chartered Environmentalist and a member of both the European and World environment committees of Airports Council International.

In his 15 years’ experience, Adam has worked in a number of sustainability-related roles across Manchester Airports Group (MAG) – including leading MAG to become the UK’s first carbon neutral airport group and developing MAG’s 2020 Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy: ‘Working together for a brighter future’.  During the pandemic Adam coordinated MAG’s community-focussed response to COVID-19 and is now focussed on delivering a sustainable recovery by leading the implementation of MAG’s CSR Strategy, corporate responsibility reporting and the business’ approach to strategic environmental issues including noise, air quality and climate change.
