David is Managing Director of Mima with over 25 years of commercial experience. David’s background is in human factors, design research and service design. He has worked on projects across sectors from rail, aviation, utilities, national infrastructure, security, emergency services and energy and has delivered projects in the UK, France, Georgia, UAE, Malaysia, South Korea and the USA.  

His clients include London Heathrow Airport, Etihad Airways, Bologna airport, ITER, Adu Dhabi Distribution Company, Jaguar Land Rover, Victoria & Albert Museum, Hyundai, Transport for London, Network Rail and Shell.  He has collaborated with engineers and designers including WSP, Jacobs, Aecom, Wilkinson Eyre, Pascall + Watson and HOK.
David is a regular speaker at international transport and design conferences and has lectured at a number of universities on the subject of human-centered design.
