Rob is a Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer for Asthma + Lung UK focussing on clean air. Asthma + Lung UK are fighting for everyone’s right to breathe. This means supporting those with existing lung conditions to live full lives and doing everything we can to prevent more people developing a lung condition.

Rob leads the organisation’s influencing work on air quality, seeking to drive policy changes that will deliver clean air and protect people’s lungs. Over the past year, Rob has worked to influence the Environment Act, working in partnership with other members of the Healthy Air Campaign to ensure that legal targets on air pollution are as ambitious as possible. He has also led our influencing work in London, which has been instrumental in delivering expansions to the ULEZ.

Rob has done extensive research into the interconnected issues of air pollution, social justice and climate change; developing a detailed understanding of interventions that can help reduce air pollution and protect those who are most vulnerable.
