Sarah is the Head of Land, Property and Compensation for the Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) Programme within National Highways and is currently working on the land assembly to support the LTC DCO application which is currently in the pre-examination phase. She has worked for National Highways for 26 years and during that time has overseen the compulsory purchase of land for a number of schemes but most notably Sarah led the land assembly for the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon scheme through the DCO and Construction phases and has provided advice to a number of other schemes regarding the compulsory acquisition elements of their DCO Examination phases. The National Highways LTC Programme is promoting 14.3 miles of new road, a new Tunnel under the Thames stretching 2.6 miles and around 50 new bridges and viaducts.
