Nick is a Chartered Surveyor and Director in Ardent’s compensation directorate based in Birmingham and the home counties/midlands. He specialises in Compulsory Purchase and Compensation acting for acquiring authorities and claimants across regeneration and infrastructure projects pursued through development consent orders and compulsory purchase orders.

He began his career at Knight Frank where he acted predominantly for claimants and then spent five years working for Deloitte in their Compulsory Purchase team. Most recently his work has focused on acting on behalf of acquiring authorities such London Borough of Havering and various promotors of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects and large linear infrastructure projects such as East West Rail Ltd and High Speed 2. 

Nick has over 10 years experience specialising in providing advice in relation to compulsory purchase and compensation for Acquiring Authorities seeking compulsory purchase powers and Claimants who are affected by projects requiring the compulsory acquisition of their land.
