Jen Ashwell is a Senior Associate in the Planning and Compulsory Purchase team at Burges Salmon with experience acting on large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly within energy and transport. Jen is regularly involved at all stages of a project including pre-application engagement and consultation and dealing with issues around EIA, Habitats and water and marine licensing issues, as well as dealing with projects through examination/determination and post-consent. She also regularly advises on the promotion and implementation of compulsory purchase orders for acquiring authorities, as well as advising objectors and dealing with complex compensation issues.
