Katy has extensive experience working in stakeholder and community engagement and consultation for complex large-scale projects such as the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine and the A96 Dualling East of Huntly to Aberdeen projects. 

Her experience means she is proactive in implementing effective engagement strategies and understanding where meaningful dialogue should take place. She has skills in gaining stakeholder buy-in, through building relationships and identifying tailored approaches to different stakeholders and local communities. In late spring 2020, she drove the development of a thought piece setting out Arup’s approach to how we can continue to deliver public consultation projects in a new environment.
