As a Strategic Communications Associate Director at Turley, Andrea works closely with a broad range of clients to create and deliver bespoke communications strategies to support their projects. This includes working across the UK on nationally significant infrastructure, housing, urban regeneration, studios, education, hospitality and leisure projects. 
 
Starting her post-graduate career at the Infrastructure Planning Commission (now Planning Inspectorate), Andrea is a chartered town planner with over 13 year’s industry experience in the public and private sector. In 2011, Andrea joined Turley to lead the South West and Wales Strategic Communications service. Her planning knowledge, combined with skills in public relations, political engagement and community consultation, helps create successful planning outcomes.
 
In 2017 Andrea was commissioned by the Welsh Government to write a ‘Pre-application Community Consultation Best Practice Guidance Note’ for developers. This note draws upon the best practice approach and practical advice on consulting under the requirements of the Planning (Wales) Act 2015. This note was published as new guidance by Welsh Government in November 2017.
