A stakeholder engagement and consultation subject matter expert, Garrett is current Head of WSP’s Engagement Team and has over 20 years’ experience of leading the delivery of Engagement and Consultation activity to enable complex infrastructure projects. This experience includes a wide range of projects ranging in scale and complexity within Defence, Rail, Water, Regeneration and Energy sectors. Central to the approach taken across these projects, is designing impactful strategies which drives collaboration with clients, multi-disciplinary design teams, statutory and non-statutory stakeholders. This approach helps projects reduce costs and navigate political complexity, through the generation of consensus, thereby reducing programme risks. In addition, the focus on collaboration means organisations are more likely to work together in driving inclusivity with communities, young people and under-served groups.
