Phil has been working for Suffolk County Council since 2007, initially as a Landscape Officer. Throughout that time he has been closely involved in the development and consenting of National  Infrastructure Projects and has worked, or is working on,  a series of energy projects including Sizewell C, multiple offshore wind projects, interconnectors, a Gas Fired Power Station and an NSIP scale solar scheme. Phil is integral to the Council’s activity and response to these projects, but is principally focused on managing the Council’s engagement with strategic stakeholders, including, DESNZ, DLUHC Ofgem, and National Grid ESO, and the  coordination on energy infrastructure issues, between Suffolk’s Local Authorities.
