As Technical & Innovation Director Richard’s role focuses on representing RIA members interests in the important areas of technical strategy, innovation, research, safety and technical standards. He is also responsible for the coordination of RIA's Nations & Regions network.

Richard has significant railway industry experience, as a consultant and rail business owner, with a career focused in technical engineering businesses where design and innovation have played a leading role.
