Andy is working for the Great British Railways Transition Team on the development of the 30-year Whole Industry Strategic Plan that was called for within the Williams-Shapps Plan for Rail, in particular working with the industry on the strategy to deliver against the industry’s environmental sustainability objectives. He has a background in the rail industry working for Network Rail in a number of different roles, most recently working in strategic planning, looking at how the rail industry solves complex problems such as how to most effectively deliver the widespread deployment of ETCS and how to decarbonise both traction and infrastructure emissions.”
