Matthew leads Govia Thameslink Railway’s ERTMS Integration team responsible for testing operations, initial ERTMS incident/fault investigation and integration between trackside, operations and onboard from an operator’s perspective. He has worked on the Northern City Line project from an early stage right through to the present-day operation of the ETCS overlay preparing for ‘signals away’. His background is in Train Operating Company projects as well as having studied at the Birmingham Centre for Rail Research and Education.
