As the Industry Partnership Director for East Coast Digital Programme, we are delivering a landmark scheme working across over 30 industry partners to upgrade the signalling system by replacing traditional lineside signals with modernised in-cab digital signalling. This ambitious scheme will result in the first signals away deployment of ETCS on a UK mainline and is a significant step in our long-term deployment plan. This is the most complex industry spanning programme in a generation, and previous experience across major programmes, front line operations, IT and supply chain operations enable clear focus on outcomes and identifying a 'best for industry outcome' throughout this change.
