Paul is LNER’s Head of ERTMS and the Industry Change Manager for the East Coast Digital Programme (ECDP).

For ECDP, Paul focuses on the people side of change, bringing industry closer together, including changes to business processes, systems, technology, job roles and organisation structures for industry and within the ECDP Programme. He is also responsible for benefits realisation of the programme and keeping change on track.

He has worked in operations including train driving, Control, Safety and in strategic operations roles for the ECML Train operating Companies for over 38 years. Paul has been supporting the industry’s transition to ERTMS since 2004, working as part of industry working groups and forums.
