Richard has over 40 years of varied experience in the rail sector having held the posts of Head of Operations Engineering and Safety for a UK Train Operating Company, Director of Systems and Standards for the UK Association of Train Operating Companies and latterly Head of Strategy, Research and International Relations for the European Railway Agency.
