Christie heads up the Grid team at BSR. He and his team are responsible for all aspects of the Grid Connections process, from identifying capacity and applying, through surveying and detailed design, right up to the build and connection of the projects to the Grid. 
 
Christie has a strong technical background and has been with BSR for nearly 8 years, working both in Grid and as an energy storage specialist. He is on the Grid Steering Group with Solar UK and frequently attends DNO events to argue for better support and response for generation projects. He operated the Solar Storage BESS as part of the Network Innovation Fund project until 2019.
