From managing £1bn wholesale market exposure for to developing local energy market platforms, Jon has a diverse background in the energy industry, but with a consistent theme of engaging consumers in the energy markets. Focusing on the interaction of policy and markets, he has worked on the development and implementation of local energy and flexibility markets and market platforms including a p2p wind curtailment market on Orkney, balance group optimisation through flexibility in Switzerland, demand response optimisation in South Korea, as well as the PFER Smart Local Energy System detailed design for a Regional Energy System Operator and network innovation projects.
