Ray leads Regen’s work on future energy systems, which includes collaborating with a number of the UK’s electricity network companies to understand how the transition to net zero will impact their networks. Ray also leads Regen’s technical development strategy, coordinating the development of the company’s technical capabilities and expertise in areas such as energy storage, flexibility markets and high energy users. Ray joined Regen at the end of January 2017, after 13 years working in the energy team at South West Water and has a background in electrical engineering, renewable energy asset operation and programme management.
