Megan is the Hydrogen Market Development Manager at SSE, where she focuses on identifying future opportunities and supporting the expansion of SSE's portfolio of low-carbon hydrogen production and storage projects. With a background in Chemistry, Megan has since gained extensive experience in energy policy and market design. In her previous role as an energy economist, she guided investment decisions for renewables, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and thermal projects across European, US, and APAC markets.
