Dr James Walker is Interim Head of Hydrogen Strategy at Ofgem, the energy regulator for Great Britain. In his role James has responsibility for considering the evolution required in energy regulatory framework to accommodate hydrogen as part of a low cost transition towards Net Zero in Britain. Prior to joining Ofgem, in his role with the EMEC Hydrogen energy research centre, James led the strategic development of real-world hydrogen innovation projects in Orkney, Scotland alongside partners from across Europe and further afield.
