James is Director of Gas at the Energy Networks Association (ENA), the trade association which represents the interests of regulated gas and electricity networks in the UK and Ireland.
 
James leads ENA’s gas team and has overall responsibility for ENA’s gas activities, including their flagship ‘Gas Goes Green’ programme. Through this programme, the ENA and its member networks are researching, coordinating and implementing the changes needed to established the world’s first zero-carbon gas grid, converting Britain’s world-leading 284,000km of gas network infrastructure to run on hydrogen and biomethane.
