Karolien de Bruine is EU liaison for the East Netherlands. She works for the regional development agency Oost NL. On behalf of 24 partners from regional and local authorities, (applied) universities, and business organisations she represents the region in Brussels on the themes related to innovation; Smart & Sustainable Industries, and Concepts for a healthy life. This triple helix cooperation positions itself as Th!nk East Netherlands.  She is actively involved in the Vanguard Initiative, as East Netherlands region currently holds the chair. She is always looking for European partners, knowledge and funding for regional SMEs.
