Mark is a Chartered Surveyor and Director in Ardent’s Compensation Directorate based in London. Mark has over 25 years’ experience of dealing with compulsory purchase, compensation and valuation. Mark has advised acquiring authorities, developers and claimants. 

Mark has worked on numerous infrastructure projects. He was heavily involved with the Thames Tideway Tunnel DCO, acting for Thames Water. He has also advised various London Boroughs and other Councils and developers on compulsory purchase matters in relation to regeneration projects.   

He has advised many claimants on multi-million pound claims and has been involved in many cases that have been referred to the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).

He spent the majority of his career, prior to Ardent, at GVA (now Avison Young). Mark joined the Ardent team in 2019.
