Guy is director of strategic projects and head of Savills Ayr office. He is principally responsible for teams delivering large scale linear infrastructure projects for clients throughout the UK.

Following a degree in land economy, Guy qualified as a rural practice chartered surveyor before becoming increasingly involved in the development and management of a wide variety of environmental and utility projects on behalf of private and public sector clients. In addition to infrastructure projects, these included forest regeneration schemes, upland access initiatives, designed landscape restoration, national park establishment, historic building restoration and museums. A growing profile within the utilities sector in Scotland led to his being appointed head of utilities at Bell Ingram before joining Savills in 2012 to develop a national utilities department.
