Jonathan Nesbitt is an Associate Director and MRICS Chartered Surveyor at Savills, where he leads the Major Projects England and Wales team within the Utilities and Infrastructure division.

He specialises in Development Consent Orders and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, advising electricity, water and transport infrastructure promoters on land and consenting strategy across complex major schemes. Jonathan has extensive experience managing the full land assembly process on large-scale linear infrastructure projects, from early stakeholder engagement and voluntary agreements through to DCO examination. He has particular expertise in landowner engagement strategy, navigating the competing interests of promoters and affected parties within the statutory NSIP framework. With the regulatory landscape around statutory consultation continuing to evolve, Jonathan brings a practical, promoter-side perspective to the challenges of delivering effective and legally compliant engagement at scale.
