Chris Nutton is currently the Major Projects and TRU Director at TransPennine Trains; Chris has 25 years of experience in the rail industry since joining as a Graduate trainee with roles and senior leadership responsibilities across multiple functions, including projects, asset management and capital delivery, property, operations, performance and fleet, working in a number of rail businesses (Northern, Virgin Trains, First Group and TPT). Since becoming Programme Director in 2012, Chris has led and delivered multiple complex pan-industry Timetable, Rolling Stock, Infrastructure and Operational projects. He continues to lead TPE's investment teams and our deep collaboration with Network Rail including the £11bn TransPennine Route Upgrade.
