Ian has spent nearly 20 years working in Urban Regeneration, delivering Social Impact and Economic Growth via major development, including establishing new charity partners, discharging S106 obligations for maximum community benefit and project managing unique capital public realm and business start up spaces, including at the likes of the 2012 Olympic Park and for Argent LLP at King’s Cross.

Since January 2022, Ian has used his experience, knowledge and spatial planning skills working for the North East’s Combined Authority. He is now responsible for major capital regeneration projects in the Housing and Land Portfolio, that includes the Tyne Taskforce, Forth Yards, Gateshead Quays and the new transport infrastructure focus of the Northumberland and Leamside Rail Lines.
