Graham leads the Network Rail team developing the whole industry strategy for the railway that is Eastern Region and Northern Powerhouse Rail programmes as an integrated part of the rail network. Passionate about the role rail can play in facilitating economic growth Graham led the development and secured the funding for the Northern Hub. Graham has led Network Rail’s work developing Northern Powerhouse Rail since 2016. Joining the rail industry in 1987 Graham spent over 20 years leading operations and maintenance teams delivering passenger and freight services daily across the north of England and the Midlands.
