Rachel is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with over 25 years of experience working for the local distribution network operator since the pre-privatisation Manweb era. During this time Rachel has worked on designing the local electricity network, maintenance and fault restoration and delivery of large 132kV projects across North Wales. Rachel has been involved in facilitating generation onto the distribution network since 2010 and is now working to prepare SP Energy Networks for the future demand requirements as the UK transitions to the electrification of transport and heat by 2040.
