Julie Rankin-Perez is the Head of Project Development at Protium Green Solutions Ltd, where she is responsible for overseeing the early project development across the portfolio of deals in the UK and Europe, maturing these into deliverable projects that can be taken forward to Protium’s Investment Committee. Julie’s team comprises of specialists in land, planning, permitting (environmental and safety), grid connections, water connections and stakeholder engagement. Julie studied a BSc (1st Class Hon) in Product Design Engineering in 2004, followed by a MSc in Energy in 2008 and a MBA in 2014. After a period of 5 years in the medical device industry, Julie moved industries and has gained over 15 years of experience in the development and construction of onshore renewable energy projects including 4 years in the green hydrogen space. Julie is part of the Senior Management Team at Protium and Vice Chair for the Renewable UK Planning and Permitting working group for green hydrogen.
