​Rebecca was brought up on the family dairy farm in Pembrokeshire and has focused her career on understanding how Wales’ natural resources can be best used to support local communities and economies in a sustainable way. Rebecca joined Crown Estate as Director for Wales in August 2022 leading on all activities in Wales. She previously worked for National Trust Cymru as Director of Conservation where she played a key role in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and previous to that Director for Wales for the Country Land and Business Association (CLA). She has also held a variety of different roles relating to agricultural policy and legislation at Welsh and UK levels of government. During her career Rebecca has also played a key role in the team that created Natural Resources Wales and has also worked as Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Wales.
