Dr Veronica Chan joined the Port of London Authority (PLA) as its senior advisor on air quality and climate change at the beginning of 2020. She leads work on the development, monitoring, and implementation of the PLA's Air Quality Strategy for the tidal Thames. She is also responsible for the organisation's adaptation in response to climate change and ensures climate resilience. Previously, Veronica worked in climate and oceanographic research. She has a PhD in Climate Science from the University of London.
