Jenny Cooke is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 10 years experience in the rail sector with projects ranging in size from earthworks repairs to major schemes on the East and West Coast Mainlines. For the Decarbonisation Programme, she was technical lead (DPE) for the roll-out of electric vehicle charging schemes across Network Rail's managed stations. She currently leads the engineering team delivering enhancement projects for Network Rail's Central Route, including eight new stations for the West Midlands, Access for All schemes and Midlands Rail Hub. She is also a past Chair of the Rail Engineers Forum which represents the professional engineering institutions in rail, where she coordinated the first ever joint lecture series to help get innovation developed through UKRRIN into the hands of practising engineers across the industry.
