Elisabeth Cuthbertson is the Director of Rail Reform at the Department for Transport, a post which she job-shares with Lucy Ryan. They lead on the strategy, policy and delivery of the government’s Rail Reform programme which will create Great British Railways, and reform the structural and commercial model for the rail system alongside the reform of workforce and fares, ticketing and retail. Elisabeth has worked for numerous Whitehall departments, on Energy and Climate change, Nuclear Decommissioning, Oil markets and the economies of oil producing nations, Further Education and business support.
