Rachel currently works as Service Analyst for National Rail Enquiries at Rail Delivery Group, the membership body for the British railway industry.

Rachel’s career in the rail industry began in 2014, when she joined Network Rail as a Section Planner for the Euston Signals team. Following this she worked on the HS2 programme of works as an Assurance and Controls Assistant, before joining RDG.

Rachel has been a member of the Women in Rail / Railway Industry Association EDI Working Group since it’s inception in February 2021 and recently took over the position of Chair. In addition to this, with several RDG colleagues she helped to deliver the Trainbow conference in 2021 (in conjunction with Archway, Network Rail’s LGBT staff network), which brought together LGBT staff networks from rail companies across Europe. She was presented with RDG’s ‘Inclusion Award’ in 2022.
