Sean Croshaw is the Strategic Rail Manager at Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), and in this role he leads a small team of rail experts who work with the wider rail industry to achieve the best possible outcomes for the future rail network and services in Greater Manchester and the wider North West area. Sean’s commitment and dedication has enabled TfGM to build up strong relationships with key stakeholders in Network Rail, DfT, Transport for the North, TOCs, FOCs and adjoining local authority areas, and has generated respect for bringing well developed evidence to future plans for rail. 

Sean project directed the TfGM Rail Freight Routing Study, which addressed the questions of the future needs of rail freight in Greater Manchester, and since then has nurtured relationships with Rail Freight Operators to help develop these ideas.
