Ali Leeder is Major Infrastructure Planner at Arup with 17 years experience leading major infrastructure projects, particularly in the energy sector.  Her experience includes leading projects consented under the Planning Act 2008, Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the Electricity Act 1989.  In the field of solar development, Ali has led consents for twelve separate solar farms, including most recently being the Development Consent Order and Planning lead for the 500MW Gate Burton Energy Park in Lincolnshire. She has also led the interrelationships report for the Gate Burton, West Burton, Cottam and Tillbridge Solar Farms, which are four large DCO schemes that connect into the Cottam and West Burton substations and share part of a grid connection. Ali was also an Expert Witness for the recently consented 500MW Longfield Solar Farm. Ali is passionate about renewable energy and has an uncool level of interest in planning case law.
