Mark joined RSK Biocensus in July 2019, after 12 years with Arcadis. His previous responsibilities were divided between his technical expertise (botany and ornithology) and as a line manager with a remit for survey training and development of staff. As a Technical Director, Mark takes a key role in project management, providing technical expertise with regard to habitat survey and ornithology. Mark is the RSK ecology lead for solar. Recent high-profile projects as technical lead include work on Longfield Solar Farm, Byers Gill, HS2 (Phase 1 Central) and previously leading the ecology input to the nuclear new-build at Sizewell, in Suffolk. 
 
Mark is a Chartered Ecologist and a Fellow of CIEEM.
